1. The judge must impose a fine and sentence you to prison.  The fine amount and jail time depend on the results or your refusal of any alcohol/drug test offered by the arresting officer. 

2. Your drivers’ license will be suspended for a period of two (2) years. Your drivers’ license will be taken by the Court immediately upon conviction.

3.  If this is your 3rd offense within five (5) years, your license will be suspended for four (4) years. If this is your 3rd offense within three (3) years, you will be declared a Habitual Traffic Offender and your license will be suspended for five (5) years. (Sometimes it is possible to regain your license after two (2) years.  Ask us about this.)

4. An Ignition Interlock Device (IID) will be required to be installed on your vehicle during your entire suspension. Once you have installed the device you will be able to obtain an IID License which will allow you to drive unrestricted as long as you are driving a vehicle with the IID installed.
5. You will be ordered to enroll and complete ADSAP. Approximate costs for ADSAP are between $500.00 and $2,500.00 and are based on an assessment performed upon enrollment.
